About

It’s no secret that HTML5 game development is becoming more and more popular. To say that the mobile gaming and app market is huge is an understatement. With technologies such as Unity, WebGL / Canvas, Unreal and Construct, it’s very easy to get into development. But as you either already have, or will soon find out, it can be a very confusing topic. There are hundreds of plugins and modules to help, with people putting together mix and match solutions. This website by no means will provide you with the best solution as it’s purely subjective. However we will focus on a few good key areas and not making things overly complicated.

We use predominantly Pixi.js as it’s by far, the fastest html5 renderer. We also cover phaser.io as it’s a library built on top of an older version of Pixi.js. At some point in the future, we will start incorporating engines like the unreal 5 engine and possibly contruct2 though our main focus right now is JavaScript.

All the projects we do will be available on github and you can watch us develop each one step by step. Whilst we are confident in what we do, that in no way means that there isn’t room for improvement. If you see something we have done that you disagree with, or have a better solution, we encourage any and all contributions.

If you feel you have more than the occasional comment to contribute, then please feel free to get in touch and we can discuss you becoming a tutorial writer here.
